buckyballs are made of carbon, they are hexagons joined together to make a ball of hexagons.
the lenses on a microscope bends the light inward to a point, making small things look bigger, this helps to focus because the lenses move up and down. This also explains why when you look through a magnifying glass things a long way away are upside down.
