Hi! I’m here from The Lady Bloggers Tea Party Social! Pleased to meet you. I’ve got a HELLO, HANDSOME blog party happening at my blog right now. I’d be tickled pink if you stopped by and joined in the fun.

We have a dog which all the kids loved as babies, then were a bit ambivalent about as toddlers, now as they are getting older they are really fascinated by him, they ask lots of questions about things he does, how he’s feeling, what kind of dog he is and how he’s different to the other dogs we know… This post has inspired me to do a bit of directed questioning about him myself…

We had a cat when the big one was a baby, but since then it hasn’t been practical because we travel too much. I’m so glad we can get back into having animals again.

We have a dog named Callie. She is 11yrs. old and is a member of our family. All our grandsons greet her and she greets them when they come over. Every child sould have the experience of loving a pet.

I can’t see it happening with the budgies, but our cats and dogs have always been part of the family. They’re very special.

We had a cat when Immy was born but she didn’t tolerate the baby very well so when we moved back to Perth she moved into my sister’s house temporarily but somehow has never made her way back to us! I think pets are really important for children too but I must admit, I don’t miss cleaning up after one!
