These are great ideas (especially the one involving marshmallows-yum!) Sunsets are great for looking at and for picture taking…something my daughter loves.

Happy Thursday!

I have yet to see a meteor! I always seem to miss the meteor showers. This is a great list. I especially like the suggestion of watching the flowers closing.

Kids often have a fear of the unknown. Great tips! Happy T13!

It’s still too cold here to be outside at night without a few layers, but I am SO looking forward to warmer temperatures and all these adventures!

A damper is a traditional Australian unleavened bread, it was originally flour, water and bicarb soda. Now it’s a bit more elaborate, there’s a recipe here.

A greenstick damper you cook by wrapping it around then end of a green stick, so it doesn’t catch fire, and hold over the fire. When you pull it off you can put butter, jam or golden syrup into the hole. Very yummy! We also used to wrap little balls of damper in alfoil and cook them in the coals.

I LOVE watching for satellites, when I was a skinny girl and still to this day.

I love the idea of a torchlit treasure hunt!
