I found this fabulous idea at Irresistible Ideas for Play Based Learning and couldn’t wait to try it with the girls.
This was a definite hit, and seeing we have a huge supply of rocks and crayons it’s something we’ll be doing again soon. The wax had a beautiful smooth texture when it cooled, investigating it melting and setting was as popular as trying all the different colours.
