Very cool . I see things (well lizardy things on the road) all the time but my husband is usually going to fast to stop or won’t.

Wow that’s awesome! We have a blue tongue that lives in a pipe in our backyard, and the kids love it when he emerges to catch some sun. So fascinating, but this one you found would knock their socks off!

We used to get lots of bluetongues in Perth when I was growing up, we could hand feed them.

Wow, that IS amazing. Beautiful creature, i’d love to see one up close. I totally agree.. “It just shows it’s not only when you are looking on purpose, keep your eyes open and you may find amazing things around you any time.”
Never thought of it like this, and now I may notice more in my surroundings. It is getting warmer here, perhaps I’ll find a western painted turtle in southern IL! =/ its no Australia!

These ones are just gorgeous! Most of the scary ones are more afraid of us, we just give them lots of space.

my boyfriend is obsessed with australia and has asked me many times if i’d like to live there. and while it seems like a great country to visit, what about all the snakes, spiders and other dangerous fauna representatives?.. maybe i’ve watched too much tv:)

This is so neat, how did you every see that, it would blend so easily with it’s surroundings?
I’m going to share this with my granddaughters!

With the normal background it’s almost invisible. But they move very slowly and my husband spotted it on the black road.
