I’m just happy to admire it from afar…a great deal of afar, with maybe some toasted marshmallows to give authenticity to the occasion lol.

Volcanoes are at the same time destructive, frightening, and absolutely beautiful. I’d love to see one up close, too, but in a fireproof spaceship. lol! Don’t really see that happening in the near future, though.

I just don’t think it is ever going to be as popular in our house as Mount Vesuvius. After all, we can’t pronounce it, and I don’t see the local pizza shop naming a pizza after it! Whereas Vesuvius is fun to say, as is Pompeii, and it has it’s own pizza. This one is definitely a hard sell …
