What a strange looking bird! I can’t figure out what the green thing is!
bettyl´s latest amazing offering ..cactus bloom
The bird is a Wedge-Tailed Eagle or Wedgie. I’d say it’s been injured and rescued, so possibly it can’t perch properly.
The green thing is a gumleaf. They grow with a curve, and occasionally you get an over-achiever 😉
What an amazing bird…and so close!
Kelly´s latest amazing offering ..More of Melbourne
what an unusual bird. I sure would need a closer look at it.
Tamara´s latest amazing offering ..Wordless Wednesday 11 April
It’s the first time I’ve seen one that close – usually they’re taking off as we drive past!
