I like the idea of field journals, I think it’s something Amy would enjoy when she’s older, along with a cheap camera for her to take her own photos with.
Must admit, I’m a bit jealous of anyone that has ANY plants in their yard, we’ve got grass, lots of grass, and a gum tree + 3 very small gums that we’ve planted. I miss having bushes and flowers and insects all year round. But when $$$ looks bad, the landscaping doesn’t get done. Am hoping to plant lots this year.
Veronica´s latest amazing offering ..No thankyou- I don’t want chocolate for breakfast
It was terrible what happened to your veges, this is mostly natural bush.
We use a tripod for the camera with the little ones, protects it and makes it easier for them to reach the buttons.
Your field journals are so cool. Very good point about the world not ending but possibly human life ending.

Maybe if we appeal to selfishness people might change!
I’ve been trying to convince my Dad that we are reaching the tip point, but he really doesn’t get it. I’m going to try the field journal with DD1. She loves taking photos and she is starting to get the idea of writing to record information.
