Taste
Don’t do this for at least the first 6 months! Babies are highly focused on sweet because that is what the calories they need for growing taste like. One of the advantages of breastmilk is that it changes in flavour depending on the mother’s diet, so babies are already used to a variety of flavours from the family foods. Babies have far more taste buds than adults, so don’t put too much flavour in their food.
